環團反彰化大城環評案

【王玉樹／台北報導】環保署上午進行「彰化大城產業園區」環評案初審，台灣水資源保育聯盟數名成員在開會前先到環保署門前抗議，認為此案影響彰化雲林漁、農民甚鉅，要求環保署退件，指彰化大城鄉已有六輕、芳苑、彰濱及中科四期等工業區，經濟部目前又已通過於彰濱工業區300多公頃面積土地填海造陸，但該部仍要於彰化大城台糖土地約95公頃進行此高污染產業園區計畫，又刻意切割環評，只提出第一期25.3公頃土地環評意圖減少爭議，但光第一期年排放致癌性有機揮發物就有190噸，環保署應直接退件。
