由網友發起的「公民1985行動聯盟」為洪仲丘一案討回公道，以及為國軍弟兄爭取人權，今(20)日走上街頭，高喊口號要國防部長高華柱出來面對，給個真相。而對於民眾的抗議，國防部於上午派出副部長接受陳情，並向全民鞠躬道歉。
陸軍542旅義務役下士洪仲丘，在部隊疑遭不當管教不幸暴斃軍中，為洪仲丘事件討公道，「公民1985行動聯盟」今(20)天穿上白衣走上街頭、高喊口號「要真相!」上演行動劇，並點名國防部長高華柱出面，呼籲國防部盡快讓洪案真相大白。
尚未到預計抗議時間，抗議民眾已紛紛據及在國防部外，高唱起改編自「英雄好漢在一班」為「肥貓流氓在一班」的歌詞，諷刺軍中陋習。據主辦單位表示，已超過上萬人到場參與。
同時，國防部長高華柱出現在台中洪家，二度前往洪家慰問洪仲丘雙親，並允諾一定會盡快還原真相。在台北方面，對於民眾的抗議，國防部也釋出善意，派出國防部副部長楊念祖接受陳情。
國防部副部長楊念祖表示，承諾必定盡快還原真相，並針對洪仲丘案，代表國防部向全民致歉，也請求民眾再給國防部一次機會，讓國防部藉此機會，大破大立、破除軍中陋習。
