客廳地板拆除重鋪要做防水嗎?

我家是35年的公寓.位在5樓.泥作師父說.
打除客廳地板含清運再加做防水及鋪磁磚(鋪木紋磚).一坪約6000元,(不帶料)
這樣價格合理嗎?
客廳和房間地板一定要做防水嗎?因為師父說在做時會澆水.如不做防水.怕萬一滲水到樓下天花板.會有糾紛.
