根據證交所公開資訊觀測站所揭露的上市櫃公司董事酬金，還是有不少去年虧損的公司，董事酬金卻是高的嚇人，以合併報表來看，其中24家虧損公司的平均董事酬金更超過百萬元，尤以明輝環球的595.18萬元最高、其次是宏碁439.85萬元、春雨居第三達396.29萬元，其中超過200萬元的則達10家。
根據證交所公開資訊觀測站揭露上市櫃公司101年度董、監酬酬勞派發統計，163家上市公司及161家上櫃公司去年因虧損未配發股利，但去年董事酬金仍是照發，其中高達百萬元以上的更有24家，包括上市公司21家，上櫃公司3家，這些公司虧損董事卻領高酬金的現象，遭投資人質疑是董事肥貓。
根據證交所揭露的資料，虧損公司中以平均每位董事酬金來看，超過200萬元有11家，明輝環球、宏碁、春雨之外，大成糖平均每位董事酬金達358.49萬元、晨訊科335.35萬元、東森285.45萬元、大同257.87萬元、友達246.47萬元、堤維西231.17萬元、燿華230.42萬元；上櫃的斐成則有205.25萬元。
超過百萬元的部分，上市股有泰山161.26萬元、嘉泥152.63萬元、中國泰山152.43萬元、佳世達139.77萬元、華豐139.15萬元、彩晶136.55萬元、明基材134.26萬元、新日光128.71萬元、台苯108.77萬元、真明麗104.02萬元、聯德103.86萬元；上櫃股則有富驊145.91萬元、晶采103.32萬元。
不過，宏碁特別澄清指出，去年全體董事酬金中幾乎都是外部董事與獨立董事的報酬，其餘董事包括董事長王振堂、施振榮等4人，去年僅各領12萬元車馬費，並未領取分文報酬。
宏碁強調，若僅依據全體董事酬金與董事席次推算董事平均酬金，無法真正反映出董事酬金的結構，也難以明瞭每位董事的實際所得。
