一代「怪力男」Vladimir Guerrero退休兩年，威力不減，擔任天使隊開幕戰開球貴賓，竟然害蹲捕的教練Don Baylor骨折，必須開刀。

Guerrero和Baylor是天使隊史唯二拿過MVP的選手，搭檔開球本是佳話，沒想到搞出烏龍。Guerrero投出一記外角偏低的「滑球」，Baylor側身攔住，卻因此弄斷右腳。

原本還笑嘻嘻的Guerrero，跑過去扶「貝勒爺」起身，但Baylor沒辦法自己站起來，右腳也沒辦法使力，差點跌倒。Guerrero這才發現事情大條，工作人員連忙衝上來，一左一右「扛」著貝勒爺回休息室。

Baylor提前收到愚人節「禮物」，他將在美國時間4月1日開刀。
