今年是『九一八』事變83周年，按照慣例，瀋陽今天將舉行撞鐘儀式。

根據京華時報報導，瀋陽『九一八』歷史博物館館長井曉光說：『從2000年開始，瀋陽每年9月18日都舉行撞鐘儀式，社會各界人士撞鐘14下，寓意東北淪陷和大陸抗戰14年。每到這一天，瀋陽市還會鳴響警報。鐘聲和警報聲警示我們：勿忘國恥，珍愛和平。』

參加今天撞鐘鳴警儀式的3名群眾撞鐘手名單已經敲定，分別是83歲抗日老兵茹飛、六年級小學生劉佳琪和瀋陽鼓風機齒輪壓縮機有限公司員工徐強。
