高雄市農業局今天下午接到行政院農業委員會家畜衛生試驗所確診報告，29日送驗的大寮鴨鵝混養場確診H5禽流感，高雄市動物保護處晚上撲殺完畢。

動保處長徐榮彬表示，農委會資料顯示迄1月30日全國已有雞、鴨、鵝場共601場被確診為H5養禽場，總撲殺數178萬餘隻；高雄市到現在有12場H5水禽場，已完成撲殺作業，共撲殺2萬7千多隻水禽。

昨天路竹1養鵝場和今天在大寮的個鴨鵝混養場都在接獲確診報告後以二氧化碳窒息法進行全場撲殺作業，共撲殺2654隻鵝和425隻鴨。撲殺後半徑3公里內的養禽場依規定防疫監控與加強消毒。
