全球最高公寓摩天大樓之一杜拜「火炬塔」（Torch Tower）今天凌晨起火燃燒，數層樓高的亮黃色火焰沖天，所幸沒有傳出有人受傷。

美聯社報導，不具名民防官員說，沒獲報有人傷亡。

火炬塔2名居民說，聽說起火點是在52樓，著火的物質散落，又導致較低樓層起火。

來自英格蘭利物浦的53歲住戶蕭特（Steve Short）讚揚消防隊員立刻抵達現場救援。他說，火警警報提醒居民後，建築管理團隊員工逐戶敲門，確保居民撤離。

33歲居民摩勒克（R.J. Morlock）用手機記錄下亮黃火焰由建築的兩個部分竄出，看似達數層樓高。他說，居民緊張的跑出門，但消防團隊得以立刻控制火勢。

摩勒克說：「我很意外他們很快控制火勢，本來看來建築會被焚毀。」

天亮後，在街道上等待獲放行回家的居民發現，第50樓以至樓頂的約莫20多層樓嚴重毀損，且變得焦黑。清潔隊員穿上橘色制服掃除破碎玻璃和其他散落在街上的碎物。
