南科知名材料廠儲槽起火冒濃煙

台南科學園區三抱竹路一家材料廠五樓的原料儲槽昨天深夜冒出陣陣濃煙，南科與附近新市等5個消防分隊20多人到場時廠方人員都已撤出，無人受困，起火原因與廠方損失還未調查。

不過廠方告知起火的是製程使用的乙酸乙脂，因屬易燃有害化學物質，消防隊不敢大意，除使用廠方的二氧化碳滅火器壓制火勢，並在周遭噴水降溫。

消防人員表示，面積25平方公尺的儲槽火勢1個小時後熄滅，但因廠房密閉，濃煙四處流竄困難，直到今天凌晨，仍有10多名消防員在現場協助排煙。
