吐瓦魯風災 台捐兩百萬賑濟

太平洋友邦吐瓦魯國遭風災肆虐，全國進入緊急狀態，外交部今晚宣布捐8萬澳元（約新台幣195萬元）賑濟。

吐瓦魯11日及12日遭逢五級熱帶氣旋「帕姆」（Tropical Cyclone Pam）肆虐，多數外島遭海水侵襲，洪災氾濫，吐國政府已宣布全國進入緊急狀態。

外交部表示，政府在第一時向吐國駐華大使館，並透過駐吐瓦魯國大使館向吐國政府表達關懷，並迅速伸出援手，捐款給吐國政府協助賑濟風災。

吐瓦魯是中華民國在太平洋地區的忠實友邦，外交部指出，吐國曾在「八八水災」時支援我方；這次中華民國伸援手，顯示兩國重視情義，邦誼穩固。
