陸軍下士洪仲丘案，軍檢在今(31)日偵結起訴。針對542旅上士范佐憲等人凌虐洪仲丘動機，軍檢表示，由於義務役的洪仲丘拒絕背值星、竄改體測成績，才導致志願役士官不滿，對他展開報復。不過，此說一出，不但引發洪家不滿，作家九把刀下午也質疑：「把原因推到一個沒有辦法為自己辯解的死者身上，是很奇怪的。」
軍檢上午在宣布偵結起訴的記者會中指出，由於洪仲丘以退伍後打算考公務員為由，竄改5月時作的體測成績，加上他以即將退伍為由，拒絕背值星，引發范佐憲、陳以人等義務役士官不滿。
軍檢指出，范等人認為洪的舉動會造成其他人志願役弟兄的困擾。因此，便利用洪仲丘帶照相手機進入部隊的機會，藉機加以修理。
洪家家屬在家中看完曹金生的報告後，不但難以接受，甚至母親更是難過落淚。她認為軍檢根本毫無交代涉案人員真正虐死仲丘的動機，而且對於曹金生指稱，洪仲丘拒絕揹值星、竄改體測成績，才導致志願役士官不滿，對他展開報復，她泣問「難道不揹值星的罪很大嗎？他就罪該萬死嗎？」
作家九把刀下午則表示，軍檢對模糊地帶交代不清，「大家都會有想法，並且產生不信任的感覺。」此外，九把刀也強調：「把原因推到一個沒有辦法為自己辯解的死者身上，是很奇怪的。」
