新作業系統出包 大批貨物滯留紐約港

美國東岸大港口紐約與新澤西港（Port of New York and New Jersey），數周來因新的電腦作業系統出問題，導致美國東北地區的貨運大亂，延誤廠商為開學與年底銷售旺季準備的產品出貨。

貨運、零售業與政府官員表示，全球貨櫃營運商馬海爾公司（Maher Terminals）6月啟動新的電腦作業系統，之後就開始出狀況。新澤西伊麗莎白港區的電腦系統原是用來改善把貨物從船上移往卡車與火車的路徑，幫助碼頭營運商追蹤貨櫃，然而系統的各部分之間未能溝通得宜，以致產生問題。馬海爾公司表示，已取消系統部分自動即時互動功能，做為暫時的解決辦法。
