金鶯隊陳偉殷將在台北時間17日上午7時對洛磯隊先發，殷仔將擺脫2連敗的困境，除了自己要有好表現，也要隊友打擊火力全力支援，另外藍鳥3A王建民也將在17日上午7時對雙城3A先發。
陳偉殷自7月11日傷癒復出之後，連6戰先發都是優質內容，先贏得3連勝，但8月2場先發都吞敗投，目前殷仔的戰績是6勝5敗、防禦率3.06，17日對戰洛磯隊，這是陳偉殷第1次對上洛磯隊。
洛磯隊陣中只有Yorvit Torrealba曾在去年與陳偉殷交過手，3打數被揮出2支安打，包括1支二壘打，有1分打點，其他球員對殷仔都是陌生的臉孔，Michael Cuddyer打擊率3成24、全壘打17支、打點66分，在國家聯盟打擊排行榜排名第3名，Carlos Gonzalez打擊率3成02、全壘打26支、打點70分、21盜，Troy Tulowitzki打擊率3成05、全壘打20支、打點65分，他們都是陳偉殷要嚴加看管的強棒。
而陳偉殷上場先發，經常得不到隊友的火力支援，讓他陷入苦戰，根據美國媒體的報導，殷仔包括今天在內的最近21場先發，當他在場上投球時，得了52分，他退場之後卻得了45分，而且陳偉殷最近38場比賽，有25場比賽金鶯隊得分在3分以下，這種狀況，都讓殷仔投的特別辛苦。 (接下一頁)
