馬英九總統親上火線，直指立法院長王金平關說。台聯主席黃昆輝9日指出，馬英九召開記者會是用總統的身分，還是黨主席？馬英九用總統的身分公然破壞憲政體制，親自辦案「判決」國會議長。
黃昆輝表示，特偵組已經成為馬英九的個人工具，由總統意志凌駕司法獨立，「這不叫獨裁，什麼才叫獨裁？」馬英九應該立即自動請辭總統一職。
黃昆輝說，馬英九以個人意志凌駕司法、凌駕國會，違法監聽人人自危，台灣已經成為警察國家，總統帶頭破壞憲政莫此為甚。他呼籲，台灣人民不能讓馬英九違法亂紀，破壞憲政體制，台聯立委會極力推動公投法修正案，將權力還給人民。
黃昆輝指出，在任何民主國家，總統對國會都有一定的尊重，縱使是國會議員涉入司法案件，也必須尊重國會，逮捕國會議員也必須經國會同意，這是保障國會議員不受司法迫害。
他說，馬英九卻以總統之尊，直接指控國會議長，有違民主國家常軌，在國際上做了相當惡劣的示範，台灣的民主法治蒙羞始於馬英九。
