媒體報導，前內政部長李鴻源說，行政院長江宜樺要求前營建署長葉世文提前退休，但未說明原因。民進黨今（6）日表示，江宜樺應對外說明清楚，為何手中握有葉世文不法的證據，是請葉提前退休而非移送法辦？民進黨批評，「江宜樺不是逼退葉世文，而是形同包庇葉世文」。

民進黨發言人林俊憲表示，江宜樺要逼退一個營建署長，如此高階的行政官員，要求葉世文提前一個月退休，「必然有相當理由」。

「到底掌握什麼證據？到底手裡有什麼事證，必須要逼退如此高階官員？」林俊憲質疑說，如果手裡有證據，應該是要移送法辦，任何不法官員無論他位階如何，都應該徹查而非要求退休。

林俊憲表示，若如媒體所報導，「江宜樺不是逼退葉世文，而是形同包庇葉世文」，江宜樺請葉世文退休是什麼意思？

林俊憲說，江宜樺是想把案件想隱瞞嗎？他直說，看到髒東西不是把事件清除而是掩蓋，請葉世文提早退休，事情就永遠不見天日嗎？民進黨呼籲，江宜樺到底掌握那些不法情事？手裡面有哪些證據？應要對社會有所交代。
