英60大學停收非歐盟學生 台暫不受影響

教育部今天表示，英國內政部公告暫停核發60所大學校院，招收非歐盟國家的國際學生簽證（Tier 4）或入學許可，其中包括University of West London（西倫敦大學）等3所公立大學與57所私立學院，根據教育部清查，這60所學校多為「後段大學」，目前只有10多位台灣學生在西倫敦大學就讀，其他學校很少有台生。

教育部指出，英國今年2月爆發國際學生參加多益（TOEIC）考試而作弊，英內政部宣布不再與美國教育測驗服務社（ＥＴＳ）續約，也就是不承認ＥＴＳ在全球實施的多益與托福成績。英國官方6月24日宣布，這60所大學涉嫌介入作弊案，因此今年6月底起，要求校方暫停核發非歐盟國家的學生簽證。

教育部呼籲想到英國留學者，可先上英國高等教育品質保證局（The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education）網站瀏覽各校評鑑報告，以確保就學權益。網址：http://www.qaa.ac.uk/reviews-and-reports。
