休士頓醫院對峙事件病患父投降

警方今天表示，1名擔心兒子病情的父親稍早在休士頓1間醫院與警方對峙，現在已經投降。

哈立斯警長辦公室發布聲明說，這名男子已經投降，醫院也已解除封鎖。

警方稍早表示，1名男子在湯堡地區醫療中心（Tomball Regional Medical Center）挾持人質，可能帶有武器，但後來警方澄清並非挾持事件，而是1名病患的父親「擔心兒子醫療狀況」，把自己和兒子關在醫院的加護病房內，這名父親也未持有槍械。

湯堡市位於休士頓西北方約50公里。

警長辦公室表示：「嫌疑人已經投降，未多生枝節。」
