Electronic map and LBS (location-based service) provider Kingwaytek Technology has cooperated with Taiwan-based automobile makers to offer in-car Internet-access services including cloud computing-based real-time traffic and other information, according to the company.
In addition, Kingwaytek will develop mobile applications to match users of its navigation services with partnering retail stores for O2O (online to offline) business opportunities, the company said.
Kingwaytek will be listed on the Taiwan's Emerging Stock Market on January 26 at NT$80 (US$2.52) per share and plans to apply for listing on the over-the-counter board in the second half of 2015.
