近廿年來，業餘歷史學家葛林華德一直要求美國政府把有關「不明飛行物」（幽浮）的檔案解密，最近他把超過十萬頁的美國空軍內部幽浮調查檔案「藍皮書專案」放上網，英國廣播公司（ＢＢＣ）整理出五大重點。

一、藍皮書專案持續廿年，調查一萬兩千六百一十八件幽浮目擊案，一九六九年專案正式結束。

二、建立藍皮書專案是要平撫美國大眾對幽浮的恐慌。

三、專案裡大多數目擊幽浮的案件，專家調查後都認為是氣象氣球、沼氣、氣象學上的特殊現象或逆溫造成。

四、超過七百個目擊案件無法解釋。

五、關於幽浮活動還有許多資訊未公開。
