中國電器(1611)宣布，考量未來策略發展需要及提升市場競爭力，董事會決議通過公開收購啟耀光電 (興櫃股票，代號3610)普通股股權；擬收購約60%（160百萬股）股權，收購價格為每股0.8元，總收購金額約1.28億元，收購期間為10月9日至11月18日，在取得公平交易委員會核准的情況下，預計在年底前完成所有公開收購的交易作業。
中電指出，期望藉由公開收購計畫，跨足LED封裝製造，同時掌握LED照明上游關鍵技術，形成LED照明上、下游供應鏈一條龍、技術資源整合，大幅提升競爭力，並提高銷售與獲利能力。
中電表示，完成公開收購後，中電也將繼續支持啟耀現有經營團隊，使其繼續經營目前的營業項目及各項業務，短期內並無調整內部組織架構、業務計畫、財務狀況或生產的具體規畫。
中電發言人李宗龍表示，本件公開收購將使中電及啟耀進一步擴展業務範圍，並協助創造新策略商機。未來，雙方將視市場狀況，進一步強化彼此之上、下游供應鏈關係，使雙方更有機會與能力在國內外市場提供多元的產品，提升彼此收益，連帶使其客戶受惠。
