美國黃石國家公園近日有動物集體逃亡，並且被博客拍下片段，上載到互聯網。是次現象令人擔心，會否是黃石公園火山爆發的先兆。

根據東方日報報導，多名博客近日在互聯網上載動物集體逃離黃石國家公園的片段，可見一大群野牛及其他動物在公路上逃竄。研究俄亥俄州生態的博客湯姆(Tom Lupshu)表示，他在年度冬季統計中，發現黃石公園內的麋鹿有大幅減少的情況。有人擔心，動物的不尋常舉動，是因為感知到某些可怕的災難即將到臨，或會是火山爆發的先兆。

黃石公園火山是北美現時最大的活火山之一。公園上月曾發生多次小型地震，湯姆認為這有可能影響當地的地殼活動，啟動火山。他表示，雖然科學家亦難以預計下次黃石公園火山何時爆發，但可確定的是，地震次數愈多火山被啟動的機會愈大。
