第2屆台彩威力盃今天進行冠軍戰，去年冠軍隊伍桃園縣隊以連勝之姿一路挺進。但在冠軍戰中，因為投手失分過多、守備失誤，以及打線攻勢不連貫，雖一路苦追，最終仍以6：10輸給台東縣隊，獲得亞軍，及獎金50萬元。

桃園縣主力投手潘文輝，在昨天8強賽中，對宜蘭隊先發拿勝，冠軍戰中上場救援投3局，可惜前幾任投手失分過多，造成後面追分辛苦；潘文輝獲得大會頒發「投手獎」。
