基隆市1名男子今凌晨打119求救，他表示自己在路上被不知名人士捅一刀，救護人員趕到現場，看見男子站在路邊，肚子上插著一把刀，隨即將他送醫。

據《自由時報》報導，救護人員在現在沒有發現血跡，而是在男子的臥室裡看見一大片血，男子母親表示，兒子患有思覺失調症，最近有輕生的念頭。

男子身受重傷，送醫緊急縫合後，所幸無生命危險。警方前往案發現場採證，沒有發現任何血跡，反而發現男子臥房有一灘鮮血，警方研判這是第一現場，男子應該是自殺。

男子母親表示，兒子長年失業，最近精神況狀不穩，常常透露想自殺，沒想到趁她熟睡時拿刀捅自己。
