俄羅斯總統普丁決定對西方制裁措施採取報復行動。芬蘭--最依賴與俄羅斯貿易的歐元國家--現在準備承受最嚴重的經濟衝擊。

自烏克蘭危機於3月惡化以來，及歐洲與美國同意以限制方式孤立俄羅斯經濟之後，芬蘭對俄羅斯的出口已見緊縮。為了反制，俄羅斯今日對系列食品施加進口禁令，包括牛奶與乳酪。由於芬蘭與此一東部鄰國的貿易佔其外貿總額14%，這些發展讓此一北歐國家更難走出自2008年以來的第二度衰退。

佔芬蘭食品出口約40%的乳品生產商Valio Oy，「今日停止了所有生產銷售至俄羅斯產品的生產線，」執行長Laaksonen接受電話訪問時說。「這些生產線將一直關閉，直到能夠再度銷售至俄羅斯為止。只有時間能說明財務上的衝擊。」
