柬埔寨破獲走私假鈔 2泰國官員涉案

柬埔寨日前破獲一起偽鈔案，一共查獲700萬美元（約2.1億台幣）的假美鈔，是柬埔寨歷來最大一起偽鈔案。兩名涉案泰國海軍官員因此被停職調查。

九月底，兩名泰國官員和一名泰國平民，在柬埔寨與泰國邊境處的一家餐廳被捕。柬埔寨警方從三人身上搜出三大盒的假鈔，已拘捕三人。

如果走私偽鈔的罪名成立，他們恐將面臨五到十年的徒刑。而泰國海軍總部希望能與柬埔寨當局協調，把嫌犯帶回泰國審判，但可能性不高。
