6度氫爆輻射恐外洩　桃園人不知情

台灣曾發生嚴重核安意外，位於桃園龍潭核能研究所內的貯存場，在二十六年前連續發生多次氫氣爆炸，當年核研所因研發核彈，氫爆被列為機密而對外隱瞞，核研所昨天終於承認，當年的確發生六次氫爆造成輻射外洩污染土地，但已做過挖除污染土壤等除污處理，現該地已恢復自然環境輻射背景變動值內。

核廢料存放桃園超過三十年，當地人竟不知情，行政院原子能委員會核能研究所（前身為中山科學研究院核能研究所），昨下午公開位於桃園龍潭的園區，針對園區內核廢料乾貯場曾發生氫爆，土地及大漢溪水源遭輻射污染及附近原住民崁津部落罹癌率偏高等進行說明。（黎百代╱桃園報導）
