唯一的新畫面是看到 Hank 從人樣變成野獸樣 然後編劇 Simon Kinberg 在最近舉行的 wondercon 指出 DOFP 和 Dark Phoenix 是 X-MEN 的兩個著名故事 他也承認在 Dark Phoenix 這個故事上可以做得更好才對 他們打算用 DOFP 來糾正過去的錯誤 再來很多人都想問年輕的X教授為何又站起來了 Simon Kinberg 指出這在故事中是個重大的部分 且電影中會有Charles轉變成 Professor X 的心路歷程 最後提一下 FC 導演馬修范恩的新作 The Secret Service 他為了要快點將這部 Marvel 漫畫帶上大螢幕 放棄執導 DOFP 這部的卡司陣容十分驚人 Colin Firth 王者之聲：宣戰時刻 Michael Caine 黑暗騎士三部曲 Mark Strong 綠光戰警/特攻聯盟/夏洛克福爾摩斯 Samuel L.
