菲律賓貿工部次長馬納羅今天透露，預期今年會有更多台灣經貿及投資考察團訪菲，台菲經貿關係可望將更加密切。

日前率團訪台的馬納羅（Ponciano Manalo Jr.）今天向媒體表示，得力於菲國強勁的經濟表現、茂盛的商機，再加上地理因素，台灣商界人士現已開始考慮以菲律賓為前進東南亞國家協會（ASEAN）市場的大門。

馬納羅今年3月率團訪台推介菲國投資機會，拜會了數家大型企業的負責人，包括全球性的電子產品供應商在內。此外，他也造訪了台北市進出口商業同業公會理事長黃呈琮，洽談邀請更多考察團來菲的事宜。

他說，菲律賓可以提供給台灣的商業機會有：LED模組封裝、印刷及相關儀器、汽車生產、造船、農貿及水產，以及資訊通信技術等。

馬納羅補充，除了這些優勢產業之外，菲國的成衣、新鮮及加工水果、鞋品、美容產品、木製及金屬家具等產業，也都具全球競爭力，適合台商前來投資。

根據菲國貿工部資料，台灣是菲律賓重要貿易夥伴及投資來源之一，去年台灣是菲律賓第6大貿易夥伴、第9大出口市場和第4大進口來源。(中央社)
